Community Outreach
Mental
Health America works with a range of community organizations and individuals to
improve our community’s capacity to promote mental health and to provide
services to people experience mental health issue.
Currently
we are working on the following:
- strategic planning
for elder services
- a Criminal Justice/Mental
Health Task Force
- developing peer support
services for veterans
- creating a community
mental health center
- developing mental
health services for people released from jail
- integrative
approaches to physical and mental health
